    Really horrible experience at Citispa Ang Mo Kio I bought a package at Ang Mo Kio Hub branch and hardly finish 3 facials. When I went down for my appointment, the shop has vanished! No one informed me about the closure of the branch. I called them and no one answer the call. After trying several days to contact them, I finally spoke to the staff and demanded a refund. I'll take Citispa to court if can't get back my money. There is no customer service at all and the staff at HQ is very rude!!! I tried to find some review about them online and found lots of negative reviews and bad experiences by customers. Never buy any package from Citispa !!!

    yup yup... seems citispa has rather bad reputation... but thought the directors (the brothers) are so involved in charity drive and donations... Are they trying to do more charity to cover the con jobs? Well, life does not contra in this way... maybe they should make a trip to Hwa Par to see the 18 levels of hell... The punishment for cheating...

    I had a very bad experience with citispa as well, esp the outlet located at JP. Went Far East and IMM. I went there for 3 services, Facial, VPL and pedi. 1.VPL (JP). The cleanness of the room, the towels looked used before and the room does not look well maintained. For people who have done VPL sessions before, they would need to shave! However, the lady at JP used an old shaver, used gloves and the spatula that she used for the gel before the session looks old and she DOUBLE DIPPED! During the session, she keep telling me that I would need more sessions and refuse to let me go out of the room. I felt cheated because when I purchased the package at the fair, the consultant was confident that it would be suffice. So I really FELT CHEATED 2.Pedi (JP). The lady was very harsh on my nails and she was hurting me despite several appeals from me. She did not clean her equipments and used old gloves and mask. Her gloves looked as though as she has worn them for years. JP outlet did not use any cream or massage of any kind. 3.Facial. (IMM) Overall experience ok, but the sales consultant did not give up when I told her I only wanted the basic package. She came into the room when I was in the mist of the facial and the therapist stopped. I rejected her so many times (for about 10 mins) and she left the room. Then she asked the therapist to ask me before she continues the treatment! So unprofessional! 4.Pedi(Far East). Tried to hardsell their package, but overall experience is good. The lady, Carrie was experience and it was pleasant. (no pain!)

    I was approached back in 2007 to sign up a 10 sessions facial package @ $380 at AMK Hub. Was told that it was sufficient for maintenance. However, when I first when there for my first appointment, I was utterly disappointed. As other reviews mentioned, front line service staff attitude was bad. Therapist who did my facial passed sarcastic comments about my facial condition. Tried pushing me to add other treatments saying that was a basic facial and not effective for me. That went on throughout the session. After that, went back a couple of times and service still as bad. Did not go for a long time after that. Just couple of days ago, decided to try out their services again thinking there might be an improvement after so long. Managed to get an appointment at a last minute though and thought it was probably a good sign. There was a slight improvement at front line staff but still felt their comments to other customers a little crude. Again, the therapist tried to push me an IPL treatment at $128 and to add ampoule at $68. I declined both as I wasn't happy at the way she was treating my face!! She over squeezed them and now my face has broken out in lots of zits!! And worst of all, after I declined all the additional treatment and product, she did not even bother to trim my brows for me. Left me a cup of ginger tea and did not even bother to send me out. Horrible service and attitude. Never going back again!! I should claim from them for damages to my face :(

    I went to the Citispa outlet at Yew Tee point on 13 Oct 2010 at 7pm to book facial appointment for November. However, the branch manager, Liz told me that the schedule was not ready. Hence Liz asked me to write down my request on a blank piece of paper but I was reluctant due to the previous experience. I remembered I have filled up the ‘request form’ (referring to the blank piece of paper) in early Aug and I wanted to go for the facial in late Sep. Liz told me that she will informed me of the appointment after the Sep schedule is ready. Hence, I agreed and waited patiently for them to call me. 4 weeks have passed but I did not receive call from Citispa. I called to check and I found out that I was not scheduled for my facial appointment. I was utterly upset and disappointed. I tried calling them to fix an appointment 4-6 weeks in advance and I was still unable to get an appointment date. The staff did not even bother to explain to me why I was not scheduled for the facial. I was frustrated after attempting several times trying to get an appointment. I understand that there are 3 treatment beds which cater for a maximum of 3 customers at any 1 point of the time. Since Citispa is unable to meet the customers’ demand, Citispa should set a maximum capped on the number of customers. If not, there will be many ‘angry’ customers which will lead great loss in profits. It costs 5 times more to attract new customers then to retain existing customers. I told Liz about this matter. Instead of explaining the matter to me, she encouraged me to write in more feedback and complaint letter to the management. She said that it will in turn help them to highlight the problems to the management such as the lack of manpower, leave issues of the staff and the limited resources. Being a branch manager, she has no capabilities of overcoming the operational issues. Instead, she ‘hoped’ that the consumers will be able to write in more feedback and complaint letter to the management. I assumed her main responsibility as a branch manager is to ‘generate a lot of sales’ and to ‘engage’ customers to help her highlight her outlet operational issues to the management?

    Looking out for slimming and facial package. Went to citispa-amk hub. Horrendous exprience. Front line reception, - 3 consultants keep gossiping in front of me about their private life - wasnt helpful at all in assisting me to select the slimming treatment - did not brief me throught what is inside the package Therapist, - overall still ok - while having treatmen in the room, 1therapist keeps coming in and chit chat with my therapist/ open/close door every10-15min. Conclusion, the exprience was bad and consultants are very bochap attitude, service is bad too. will never go back.

    I was approached at the Tiong Bahru Plaza roadshow to purchase a voucher of $18 for body massage treatment with steam and jacizzi. Therefore i use the voucher for back-massge. But they told me to Top-Up for a full body massge. I paid $45 for the Full Body Massage. After the massge, i was told that i will be in the Sauna for 15 mins. But I was inside for 15 mins, the Sauna machine is off. therefore i step out of it and waited to be served for my Jacuzzi. I waited for 20 mins alone in the Room. I got upset and changed to leave the studio. And i feedback to the reception. They told me that they are sorry. so they a free session for back massge. AND the words they is.. " This is a Free seesion for you. You gain already" THIS IS A PLACE I WILL NEVER STEP IN AGAIN n WILL TELL ALL PPL.
